KVG International Public School celebrated Sri Krishna Janmashtami on August 26th with great enthusiasm. Dr. Renuka Prasad K.V., Chairman of KVG Committee ‘B’, extended warm wishes to all.
The celebration was inaugurated by distinguished guests, which included Dr. Ujwal U. J., CEO , KVG Committee ‘B’, Mr. Sudhakar, CEO, Sullia Town Panchayat, Mr. Chidananda Balila, Principal KVG ITI, , Dr. Revanth Professor, KVG Dental College, Mr. Arun Kumar, Principal, KVGIPS, Vice-Principal Mrs. Shilpa Biddappa. Students came dressed in colourful attires as Lord Krishna & Radha enlightened the stage with their presence.
Dr. Ujwal U. J. the chief guest of the function emphasized the importance of wisdom in our daily lives, encouraging everyone to apply Krishna’s teachings to their work and personal lives . He concluded by invoking Lord Krishna’s blessings upon all.
Mr. Chidananda Balila stressed on the importance of staying connected with our roots and draw inspiration from our culture and traditions.
Principal Mr. Arun Kumar urged everyone to lead a life of peace and values, setting a positive example for all.
The event featured a captivating play and dance performance by 9th and 10th-grade students, depicting the mythical stories of Lord Krishna. Ms. Ashwitha, Grade X student, eloquently explained the significance of Sri Krishna. Janmashtami. A Krishna costume competition was organized for the children of KVG Kindergarten, judged by a panel of experts from KVG Dental College. Followed by the Dahi Handi (pot-breaking) competition held for the students and staff, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The event was coordinated by Mrs. Prajna D.R., the School’s Cultural Coordinator. The programme was hosted by Miss Rima, Master Aneesh welcomed the guests, and Master Gayak offered the vote of thanks.
