KVG International Public School students, participated in the Brahmagiri Sahodaya Complex, Kodagu – Inter CBSE School Wetland Sports Meet held on August 13th, and bagged laurels home.
A total of eight schools participated in the Wetland competitions held at SMS Academy, Aramery. Students of KVG International Public School participated and won the following prizes:
In the tug-of-war competition, Grade 10 students Gayak D, Varshith M.N, Uthsav U U, Vekamsh V Rai, Pratham P Shetty, Chaman D K, and Aneesh K, along with Grade 9 students Bhavith L, Mohammad Razi A.M, Muhammad Shammas K.R, and Alan P.B, secured Second place. In the 4×50 relay race, Rakesh M.H, Mohamad Shaan, G T Abdul Ibaash, of Grade 7 and Mohammad Hadi Sanad, of Grade 6 secured 3rd place. In the 100m Running event, Thwaiba Fathima of Grade 6 secured 2nd place.
The stellar performance of the team was seen throughout the tournament, and all credits attributed to the hard work of the team through the constant source of motivation and support of Dr. Renukaprasad K.V. Chairman Committee ‘B’ AOLE (R.) Sullia, Dr Ujwal U.J, CEO KVGIPS, Mr Arun Kumar, Principal, Mrs Shilpa Biddappa, Vice Principal, Sports Coordinator Melvin L. Pais, Team Coaches Mr Thirthavarna & Mrs Asha Jyothi and all the teaching & non-teaching Staff.
