KVG International Public School Student Ashrith A.C. Shines at National Yoga Competition, Qualifies for International Level

On the occasion of the 10th International Yoga Day, Ashrith A.C., a Grade 3 student of KVG International Public School (KVGIPS), secured second place in the under-8 boys’ category at the Open National-level Yoga competition. The event, held on July 14 at the Koramangala Indoor Stadium in Bangalore, was jointly organized by the Karnataka Yogasana Sports Association and SGS International Yoga Foundation College and Research Centre, in collaboration with the Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports and Nehru Yuva Kendra Karnataka Government. This accomplishment has qualified Ashrith for both international and Asian levels. He is the son of Mr. Chethan Amemane and Mrs. Divya.

On August 7, Ashrith was felicitated by Dr. Ujwal U.J., the CEO, KVGIPS, to honor his achievement at KVGIPS, Auditorium. Dr. Renuka Prasad K.V., Chairman, Committee ‘B’, AOLE (R.) Sullia, congratulated the young achiever and wished him a bright future.The event was graced by Dr. Yashoda Ramachandra, Principal, KVG AJPUC, Mr. Deepak V.Y., Vice Principal, KVG AJPUC, Mr. Arun Kumar, Principal, KVGIPS, Mrs. Shilpa Biddappa Vice Principal, KVGIPS and the Parents, Staff and students.
